Stevie Nicks joins other major artists in selling off their publishing rights. This time to publisher and talent management company Primary Wave. Rolling Stone has reported that the company announced the deal on December 4th and will be come their highest profile artist to add to the booming song publishing acquisition market to date.
While Primary Wave has not disclosed the details of the sale, the Wall Street Journal has reported that Nicks sold approximately 80% of her stake in the catalogue at a deal valued at $100 million. The deal includes several huge Nick's hits as a solo artist and member of Fleetwood Mac including "Landslide", "Edge Of Seventeen" & "Dreams" which recently re-entered the charts after a recent TikTok video of her track was included.
Primary Wave has previously purchased several other artists including Disturbed and Ray Charles.
